On the evenings of November 13th and 14th, 2023, the Nepalese Community of London Ontario hosted a heartwarming Deusi Bhailo Program from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This cultural celebration took place at seven invitees’ houses, where the community came together to share joy, laughter, and traditions.
During these gatherings, our enthusiastic volunteers demonstrated their dedication by organizing lively Deusi Bhailo performances. It was a delightful occasion, filled with music, dance, and the spirit of giving. These efforts resulted in the collection of over $2200, a generous contribution that will be deposited into the NCL account to support future community initiatives.
While we received invitations from numerous other households, our time constraints limited our ability to attend all of them. Nevertheless, the success of this program is a testament to the commitment of our volunteers and the warmth of the host families.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in and contributed to this celebration. Your involvement not only added to the joy of the occasion but also played a crucial role in preserving our cultural traditions, keeping them alive and vibrant far from our homeland.
